Our honey is produced organically. We strive to obtain the best quality honey that nature allows us to obtain by using traditional producing methods which preserve the nutritional qualities of the raw product and its organoleptic properties, making it a healthy as well as a tasty product to eat.

So as to make our bees happy, we choose carefully the places where they will produce the best quality honey. All our beehives are at a safe distance of at least 3 kilometres away from any places contaminated by pesticides, fungicides, or herbicides. To find the most unspoiled corners of nature where our bees can thrive on sun-kissed flowers of numerous varieties, we became explorers and travelled through the South of Chile. We have discovered places of breathtaking beauty in the Andes where mountains rise high and on which flanks and valleys vegetation is dense and luxuriant, and the water running down the rivers is crystal-clear. In such places, we know our bees are happy and they make us happy too.

CHARACTERISTICS

Time of production:
December – January

Annual production:
140 Tons.

Characteristics:

The years of normal seasonal rain fall, the quillay has an ascendancy on this honey. It has a dark colour with a green sheen. This is due mainly to the presence of endemic shrubs in this part of the Andes Mountains such as the “litre” and “corontillo”.

Its well-balanced and soft aromas remind us of the native forests of Amazonia. Its flavours are sweet and persistent in the mouth with a hint of acidity.

The natural crystallisation of this liquid and pulpy honey thickens it to a smooth texture. Through the process of creaming, an exceptional product can be obtained.
